Donita M. Gill

Donita M. Gill, 81, of Findlay passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at theĀ  Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green. Donita was born on December 18, 1929 to William B. and Ethel M. (Giesey) Corbin, Resh. Donita married John R. Dietelbach on January 19, 1948 and they later divorced. On June 7, 2006, Donita married Charles S. Gill. Donita worked as a manager at the Lawsons store on Tiffin Ave., she also worked at Sun City Fashions, and retired as secretary and office manager for Phil Baer Realty.

Donita is survived by her sons, Fred (Deb), Bob, Tim Dietelbach of Findlay, Michael(Carol) Dietelbach of Tennessee, and Ray and Tony Dietelbach of Florida; step-children, Bob (Susan) Gill and Alice (Gene) Yantis, of Mt. Blanchard, Roger Gill, of Bluffton, and David (Sharon) Gill of Carey; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty(Don) Iliff; brothers, Bill Corbin, of Findlay and Richard (Millie) Corbin of Florida. Donita was preceded in death by her first husband, John, and her late husband, Charles; sons, John, Richard, and David Dietelbach; and a brother, Fred Corbin.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, at 11 a.m. at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia, with Fr. Sahji Thomas officiating. Memorial contributions in Donita’s name may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements.

  1. It was a pleasure to have been involved in the life of Donita and Charlie Gill. Your Mom was a special woman. She touched my heart with her kindness. May your family find peace in the knowledge that her final years were spent as she wanted and now she is at peace with her “Charlie”.

  2. Ray and Tony. I’m not sure if you remember me or not. I’m Kimberly from Kohl’s DC H.R. Been a long time gentlemen. I have looked high and low for you since I returned to Ohio. You two gentlemen are so wonderful and I cherished our friendship.

    I want u 2 know how saddened I am at the loss of your mom. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to make it to the funeral home or not, however, I will try.
