Susie – We are so sorry to hear of Jack’s passing, but are well aware that his suffering is over! Expected we would not be home, to support, you at this time of grief, but you and the family are in our thoughts daily. We regret Jack was not well enough for us to visit him before we left. Hopefully our first stop when returning, will be to see you. We enjoyed our get togethers, with you, Jack and Fancy, and had not done enough of lately, and will miss greatly.
Love,
Carolyn & Phil
Carolyn and Phil,
thanks for your prayers and emails may god bless you both
Susie:
I will forever remember Jack’s stories. He’s the one that told us to drive up into Ontario to White River. Beautiful drive. We never left your house without Jack stopping to give us something useful. What a jovial person! I will always keep him, you and the family in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, Elaine
yes he was a storrie teller and he could always make you laugh seem as though
that runs in the family –:) Bless you
Jack was my Uncle. As A child I always looked forward to seeing him. My Mother (his sister Nancy) always talked about her brother like he was next best thing to ice cream! As an adult, I, along with my wife Elaine, visited him and my Aunt Susie every chance we got. My Uncle was my hero. We traded jokes and funny stories, always trying to top the other. I will miss you Jack. I could never leave his home without his famous Columbo line…..”Just one more thing”…..and off he would go and inevitably come back with “something” he just felt I had to have!!!! Before he got Fancy I gave him a little female weiner dog named Penny. My wife and I were given a pair of sisters and we already had a dog and three seemed too much. After five days Jack called to say that Penny cried and howled for 5 straight days. He sent her back with my Mother who was visiting. She has been the high light of my life and I will always be greatful for that return gift. Penny has my heart and her Sister Zo!Zo! was devastated without her and is now the happiest dog ever! I know how much Jack loved Fancy…and I know how much Fancy must miss him! Susie, I cannot imagine what you are feeling, but you know I love you very much and I am here for you. Nicole…I love you….and I am thankful that you have such a wonderful man in your life to lean on…..Jamie….(my twin)…..please call me whenever you want to. Brad…we dont know each other well, but you are in my prayers. Jack wasn’t a perfect man…but he was a perfect Uncle. I will miss him so much……So very very much…………You will always be one of Life’s favorite memories and I will never forget you! Love your Nephew Guy
God Bless You my favorite Nephew
I met Jack while working at the IGA store in Carey. Jack always had a good joke to tell and always made time for anyone who would stop by to chat. Jack was an avid fisherman and I was fortunate to have went with him and his friend Dan fishing at times. We had a lot of fun and I will always remember those trips and Jack.
Jack will be missed by many people. I offer my condolences to his family.
thanks so much for you kind thoughts
Susie
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My dearest Susie and family,
I am so sorry to hear about Jack-no words can really help at a time like this-nor-take away the loss you are all going through. Just know I am thinking of you-and wish I could be there for you!! Sending deepest sympathy-love and hugs-Anne
LOve and HUgs to you too —:)
Susie and family,
We are sending you our love and prayers for strength and comfort during this time of your loss of Jack. Willie too was a classmate of Jack’s and they were very close friends who together made lots of fun-filled memories. We also will never forget good times the four of us had together especially when we went to the Scioto County flea market and Jack and you showed up with a new family member who was an adorable puppy who later was named Fancy. The smile on Jack’s face was priceless!! We went back to the motor home and Fancy had her first meal of Chili which she digested perfectly well. Thanks for the memories Jack!!
Susie,
We are so sorry for your loss. You are constantly in our prayers and we will see you Saturday. May God bless you.
In Christ’s Love,
Glen & Nancy Ramsey
My Brother Jack always made me laugh. From the time we were kids you could not be around us more than 5 minutes without hearing one of us bursting out into laughter over some memory of the past or something that may have just occurred. I have always been proud of my Brother. My Sister-in-Law Susie, along with my wonderful nieces and nephews were the best thing to ever happen for my Brother….and, for me and my family as well.I know you are all hurting right now, but Jack is out of pain, and I believe…in a place where he can keep an eye on us all…in peace. When our tears stop flowing, and the ache in our hearts subside….listen carefully…..very carefully…..and you will hear the sound of his laughter on the wind. It is what will sustain me when I think of him, and I hope it helps you when you think of him too! I will miss you Jack and I will always appreciate the gift that God gave me when he put you in my life! I love you, your Sister Nancy……………….
Jack was my Brother-in-Law, my friend…and he loved being ornery to me. He took me on fishing trips and had a great time thinking of some new thing to trick me into that would provide a story he would share for years!!! For instance, he explained how to take a bath “out in the sticks (which involved taking a running leap in the lake)…which was so cold I almost had a heart attack!!! I dont know why I ever listened to him….it always turned into something bad for me, but his next best story to tell!!! But I will miss him…his antics, his laughter, and my chance to get him back! I am sure he is laughing about that too….and telling his story to anyone who will listen. I love you Jack. Susie/and all his wonderful kids….you know what I said is true! I love you and share your pain….but know this, “I WILL CATCH UP WITH HIM SOMEDAY, AND WHEN I DO, Ol’Duke will laugh too!!!!!!
WELL UNCLE JACK WAS A GREAT GUY I WILL ALWAYS TALK GOOD ABOUT . I WILL MISS HIM FOR SURE . AND TO MY FAMILY AUNT SUSY AND THE GREAT KIDES HE HAD GOD LOVE YOU ALL. YOUR DAD WOULD ALWAYS BE PROUD OF YOU. TO THE BEST BIG LOT SHOPPER EVER. I WILL MISS YOU ALOT .LOVE KIT KAT.
