Karis J. (Urban) Wolford, 68, of Findlay passed away on Monday, July 18, 2011 at Birchaven Village. Karis was born on September 23, 1942 to Kenneth and Ardinelle (Snyder) Wolford. Karis worked for many years until her retirement as an administrative assistant for Blanchard Valley Center. Karis enjoyed reading, bird watching, cats, and traveling. Most of all Karis enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Karis is survived by her children, Betsy Urban, of Burleson, TX, Randy (Beth) Urban, of Newnan, GA, Amy Carzoo, of Waterford, CT, and Leslie (Jeff) Seele of McComb; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Kay Harvey and Carol Sites, both of Findlay.
Friends may visit on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Karis’ name may be made to the Alzheimer’s/ Lewy Body Dementia Association .

I am sending my love and prayers to you all. I always thought Karis to be one of the sweetest people I had ever met. She was a member of my bingo club and always seemed to enjoy being with everyone. It is so special to see how she felt about her children and grandchildren. She was a wonderful woman and I am proud to have known her and become friends with so many of her family.
