Beverly A. Schroeder, 67, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2017 at her Findlay, Ohio residence, surrounded by her family. She was born on November 21, 1949 in Denver, Colorado to the late Wayne P. Price, Margret J. Price, and step-father, Joseph A. Dell.
Beverly graduated from Saint Wendelin High School in Fostoria, Ohio. She attended Mercy School of Nursing College and graduated with top honors. Devoted and hardworking, Beverly enjoyed a long and productive career as a registered nurse for forty-three years. Beverly had a dedication to the advancement of medicine and focused the majority of her career on taking care of people with serious illnesses. A true advocate of patient care, she spent countless hours researching and facilitating change in care standards and insurance practices. She retired from nursing formally in the Home Health setting in 2014. In addition to her professional activities, Beverly was a member of St. Michael’s Parish in Findlay, Ohio. She had a long-standing commitment to raising and training dogs, all rescued from shelters. An avid animal enthusiast and supporter of animal shelter activities, she often took dogs to local nursing homes for resident visits. She enjoyed volunteering with Challenged Champions, 50 North Senior Center, and Cancer Patient Services. Beverly was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends who deeply loved her.

Beverly is survived by her loving husband, Michael H. Schroeder; children, Tara Schroeder, Trisha (Nathan) Buza, and Paige Schroeder; grandchildren, Reese, and Roman Buza. She is also survived by her sisters, Bonnie (Terrance) Miller, Barbara (James) Schlotterbeck; brother Wayne (Amy) Price; and her two sisters-in-law, Martha (Bill) Kehrli, and Patricia (David) Schilling.

Steven James Brown, 67, of Findlay, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, and went to be with his Lord and Savior at Bridge Hospice Care Center on April 3, 2017. He was born on December 22, 1949 to James W. and Nancy J. (Alspach) Brown. Steven married Patricia E. Schultz and they shared 48 loving years together.
Steven enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and spending time with his family.
Steven is survived by his father, James; his loving wife, Patricia; son, Steven D. (Deanna) Brown; and his daughter, Doni J. (Terry) Wickard. He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren, Jonathon, Jacob, Allyson, and Brayden; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Tom (Bonnie), and Jim (Melanie); and his sister, Carol (Kelly) Boutwell. Steven was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy J. Brown.

Jupiter Ramirez, 58, of Rawson, Ohio, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. He was born in La Feria, Texas on May 14, 1958 to the late Jose and Antonina (Villanueva) Ramirez.
Jupiter enjoyed his cats, fishing, and he loved his family very much.
Jupiter is survived by his wife, Sue; and his two children, Raphael, and Clarissa Ramirez, both of Rawson. He is also survived by his brother, Rick Ramirez of Lima; and two sisters, Venus Ramirez, and Marlen DeLaFuente, both of Mishawaka, Indiana; nieces, Lesley Maydon, Cindy Maydon, and Katelynn DeLaFuente; and nephews, James Ramirez, Carlos, Gavin, and Austin Maydon. In addition to his parents, Jupiter was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe Ramirez, and Miguel DeLaFuente.

Shae Renee Dickerson, 23, of Findlay, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017. She was born in Findlay on July 8, 1993 to Shawn Dickerson and Lindy (Hernandez) Schellenberg.
Shae loved her daughters, spending time with family, listening to music, and enjoyed taking selfies.
Shae is survived by her mother, Lindy; daughters, Macie Rae Price, and Audree Lynn Price; grandfather, Richard Schellenberg Sr., father of her children, Brock Price; her brother, Kenny D. Schellenberg; sisters, Natasha L. (Dickerson) Springer, Brittany, and Tiffani. She is also survived by her niece, Gracie; and nephew, Jalin; aunts and uncles, Chip and Becky, Eldonna and Deb, Richard and Bonnie, Tammy and Bill; aunt, Sherry; uncle, Jame Dickerson; cousins, Nicole LeeAnn, and Aaron; and her grandmother, Betty. Helen J. Dunlap, 98, of Findlay, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Bridge Hospice Care Center. She was born on August 14, 1918 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Harrison and Ida M. (Cochran) VanDorn. Helen married Richard Dunlap and he precedes her in death.
Helen loved working in her yard and decorating her home, but mostly, she loved her many friends and her family.
Helen is survived by her step-daughter, Jean (Eugene) Miller of Fremont; one step-granddaughter; and two step-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her nieces, Susan (George) Kentris of Columbus, Kathie (Steve) Franz of Holgate, Debbi (Jerry) Sterling of Findlay; nephew, Robert VanDorn of Findlay; and many great-nieces; great-nephews; and her much loved cat, Zoe. Helen was preceded in death by her sister, Midge Neff Lather; and brothers, D. Joe VanDorn, and Jack VanDorn.

Keith Leon Beck, 59, of Bloomdale, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Bridge Hospice Care Center after an 18 month battle with liver cancer. He was born on September 8, 1957 to the late Kenneth H. and Francis L. (Cramer) Beck. Keith married Nancy D. Beck in 1979 and they later divorced. In 2000, he married Lisa M. Spicer and she precedes him in death.
Keith graduated from Van Buren High School. He then earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Findlay and a master’s degree from the University of Toledo. He worked at the University of Findlay since 1991, where he was an athletic trainer and later a professor of strength and conditioning. In his time later, he touched the lives of hundreds of students, many of whom he’d keep in contact with for decades.
Keith was a devoted Christian, who tried to do good deeds every day in the name of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a life-long Republican and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He also had a passion for the game of golf, which he played as much as humanly possible.
Keith is survived by his two sons, Kenneth Heinz Beck (Sara) of Berkley, Michigan, and Daniel Keith Beck of Bloomdale, Ohio; and two grandchildren. Kennedy Harper Beck, and Hadley Quinn Beck, both of Berkley, MI. He is also survived by his brother, Kenneth L. Beck (Barbara) of Scottsdale, Arizona; and sisters, Patty Demos (Dean) of Newnan, Georgia, and Sharon Musser (Larry) of Rawson, OH. Surviving also is his girlfriend Jackie Ernst of Bloomdale.

W. Dennis Peters, 79, of Findlay, peacefully passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 surrounded by family at Bridge Hospice Care Center. He was born on January 11, 1938 to Chester D. Peters and Kathryn E. Peters-King. Dennis married Joleen R. Peters in 1958.
Dennis was a McComb High School graduate and worked at Cooper Tire and Rubber Company for 28 years before retiring. He loved to tinker with cars and trucks, working on them with his children and grandchildren. Dennis was a man that loved and served the Lord.
Dennis is survived by his parents; ex-wife, Joleen; sons, Nick A., Eric D., and Todd A. Peters; daughters, Teresa D. Spence, Kimberly J. Baney (Tadd), and Deena R. Smith. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Dennis was preceded in death by his grandson, Travis Trenor.

Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Stephen A. Tsantles, 66, of Fostoria, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Fostoria Community Hospital. He was born in Fostoria on March 28, 1950 to the late James P. and Donna E. (Breidigan) Tsantles. Stephen married Dawn T. Brandt on November 14, 1970 and she survives him in Fostoria.
Stephen graduated from Fostoria High School and worked for Seneca Wire Manufacturing Company for 35 years, and currently worked at NSI Crankshaft, both out of Fostoria. He loved music and listening to his CD’s all the time. Stephen was a devoted Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Pistons fan and also a Michigan Wolverines fan. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, especially little Braylon. Stephen was not an animal lover, but knew his wife was, so in the end Dawn believes he loved animals as she did. Stephen was loved by many friends and co-workers. He will be missed by all.
Stephen is survived by his wife Dawn of 46 years; son, Joshua Tsantles; daughters, Rachelle Tsantles, and Ashley Cooper; 3 grandchildren, Kailee James, Braylon Mosby, and Alexia Woodley, all of Findlay. He is also survived by his brother, Nicholas (Paula) Tsantles of Brandeton, FL; sister, Christine (Marty) Phillips; sister-in-law, Kristine Scherf of Fostoria; brothers-in-law, James Brandt of Fostoria, and Robert Brandt of Arizona; and his lifelong friend, Gary Dennis of Palm Coast, Fl. In addition to his parents, Stephen was preceded in death by brothers, Peter, Tommy, and Michael Tsantles; his mother and father-in-law, Thelma and Robert Brandt.

Philip C. Broad, 79, of Findlay, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at his residence. He was born on May 11, 1937 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late James W. and Irene M. (Westerbeck) Broad. On March 15, 1964, Philip married the love of his life, Mary Ann Eaton, and together they had five children.
Philip graduated from Clyde High School and attended Toledo University. He worked for Whirlpool in Clyde from 1964 – 1967, transferring to Findlay Whirlpool in 1967 and retiring in 1995 with 31 Human Resource Administrator years. Philip loved his grandkids and great-grandkids and watching them in all their sports events. He attended Cornerstone Baptist Church where he enjoyed his men’s bible study, and formerly served on the Clyde Fire Department. He really enjoyed family gatherings and was an avid OSU fan. Philip loved spending time with his wife Mary and going on small trips. He proudly served his country in the US Navy before being honorably discharged.
Philip is survived by his loving wife, Mary of 53 years; his sons, Lonnie (Harriet) Eaton, Randy, and James (Michelle) Broad all of Findlay; and daughter, Robin Glick of Arlington. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Phil was one of the first individuals hired to help bring Whirlpool Corporation to Findlay, Ohio in 1967. He retired in August 1995 and his legacy is best remembered as an advocate for all employees throughout his career as a human resource administrator. He was a kind and gentle leader who was proactive in including others and treating everyone with highest level of respect. Phil’s office was a shrine to the Ohio State Buckeyes and he was proudly known as “Buck” throughout the plant.

Joseph W. Connolly, 78, of Findlay, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. He was born on August 12, 1938 in Urbana, Ohio to the late John J. and Margaret (Ater) Connolly.
Joseph proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy before being honorably discharged.
Joseph is survived by his brother, John (Barbara) Connolly, of Findlay; and two sisters, Sister Patricia Connolly, RSM of Fremont, and Catherine Niederkohr, of Carey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Joseph was preceded in death by his sister, Joann Connolly; and two brothers, James Connolly, and Michael Connolly, whom passed away just hours after Joseph on Thursday.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at St. Michael Cemetery with Msgr. Mike Hohenbrink officiating.
