Richard Earl Flugga, 60, of Findlay, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 26, 2019 surrounded by his loved ones at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green. He was born March 15, 1959 in Findlay to the late Charles E. and Carol (Vanderhoff) Flugga.

Richard was a truck driver for Waste Management for 25 years. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed every moment with his family and the beach. Richard had a kind heart for anyone. He was fun, most compassionate, and loved person that you could have ever met. Richard enjoyed living life to the fullest and was always the life of the party. He will be missed greatly by many, many people.

Richard is survived by his brothers, Bill, Bob, and Charles Flugga, Rodney (Penny) Smith, Joe Capasso, Roger (Melinda) Flugga, Paul (Bobbie) Capasso, Jim (Nancy) Wilcox; sisters, Bonnie (Kevin) McDowell, Debbie Flugga, Mary Wreede (Pat Jutte), Judy (Mike) May, Robin (Roger) Foulke; and many nieces and nephews. Richard is also survived by his step-mother, Marlene Flugga; and step-father, Paul Capasso Sr. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joni Coldiron.

Friends and family may visit from 4 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 1 in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Richard’s name may be made to the Family in c/o the funeral home or Bridge Home Health and Hospice, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, Ohio 45840.

  1. He was a remarkable man that everyone will surely miss. My favorite memories of him is playing cards. He really enjoyed it and was really good at it. God has gained an amazing angel. Til we meet again.
